Hi! My name is Michael Abrams; nice to meet you. I grew up in Nashville, TN but have been living in Berkeley, CA for the last few years. I have been fortunate enough to play drums all over the United States on multiple tours and in a wide variety of venues. My background is in marching percussion but I have been playing drum set mainly for many years now. I like to play lots of styles of music ranging from funk/r&b to death metal to samba and many more in between. I would love to play and create music for your project.

I've been teaching drums for about 10 years now. I love to share the joy of playing drums with all of my students and live for that moment when a concept clicks with a student. I prioritize the fun factor with all students of all ages while incrementally introducing the challenge factor.
